LOCAL LAUNCH OF THE CURE
Thursday 3rd April, Witney Waterstones

We had such a fabulous evening at the local launch of THE CURE at Witney Waterstones.
Patty and Gem pulled out all the stops, and we chatted about the book, the research that inspired it and some actual tales from the antiageing industry that sound more farfetched than fiction.
Thanks to everyone who came and sampled our refreshing elixirs, and who bought a copy of the book. It is much appreciated.
And thanks again to Patty, Gem & Karen for all their work setting up the incredible displays and being such perfect hosts.

Join us for a talk at Headington Library where I’ll be discussing the inspiration behind my latest thriller The Cure,
and the research that informed it.
There will be a short reading, a Q&A and an opportunity to buy signed copies of my books.

I am delighted to be returning to Surrey for another library talk, this time at Camberley with local thriller author, Guy Morpuss, who wrote the critically acclaimed Five Minds and who has just launched his legal thriller, A Trial in Three Acts. Guy and I will be discussing our books and talking about the research and experiences that inspired them.

THEAKSTON OLD PECULIER CRIME WRITING FESTIVAL
What Planet Are They On?
Saturday 19th July, 3.30pm Harrogate

So excited about this panel, and very honoured to be appearing at such a prestigious international crime festival.
I will be on a panel with Ben Aaronovitch, famed for his Rivers of London series, Sarah Pinborough, whose many bestsellers include Behind Her Eyes, now a major Netflix hit, Adam Oyebanji, author of Braking Day and chaired by Doug Johnstone, author of the BBC2 Between the Covers pick The Space Between Us.
We’ll be discussing the different settings in our books, from Jamaican biolabs to far away planets and a very alternative London, all of which have one thing in common: murder.

The festival runs over four days, and really is a fabulous event with major names from the crime fiction community descending on Harrogate.

CRIME CENTRAL
Thursday 26th Feb, 6pm Central Library, Manchester

I had such a blast at my first event of the year at the stunning Manchester Central Library on a crime fiction panel with Suzy Aspley, whose chilling gothic debut Crow Moon was shortlisted for multiple awards last year, Nick Quantrill, author of the Joe Gerachty thrillers, and hosted by Chris MacDonald.
There’s a fabulous crime writing and reading community in Manchester, and it was lovely to chat to readers about the books, answer questions and then quench our thirst at a local hostelry afterwards!
