I’ve attended some fantastic crime festivals this year, including Bloody Scotland, Capital Crime & Newcastle Noir as well as my first international festival at Iceland Noir!

It’s been a busy start to the month with amazing reviews for Off Target in The Times and Prima Magazine, as well as the launch of the audiobook.

I am absolutely delighted that my debut, The Waiting Rooms, launches in Germany today under the title Der Letzte Weg (The Last Way).
I hope that the novel gets as much love from readers in Germany as it has in the UK, and I cannot wait to hear what people think!

Only one week to go until OFF TARGET launches into the big wide world in ebook! And it’s already available on all digital platforms for preorder now.

I am delighted to have been able to donate some signed copies of The Waiting Rooms to the hardworking volunteers at FareShare: an excellent charity that fights hunger and tackles food waste by redistributing surplus food to those who need it.

I was delighted to join eminent fellow writers M.R. At last! The paperback of The Waiting Rooms will launch in the UK NEXT WEEK , on July 9th. For the US and other international markets, I’m afraid it’s a bit longer: October, but the limited edition, signed hardback is available right now from Goldsboro Books who ship!!

Orenda Books has snapped up Eve Smith's debut thriller in a two-book deal. 

Karen Sullivan, publisher of Orenda Books, acquired world English language rights for The Waiting Rooms and a second book, with the working title Off Target, in a two-book deal, negotiated with Harry Illingworth of DHH Literary Agency. The Waiting Rooms will be published in July 2020.
