COME & CHAT ABOUT BAD BUGS
Calling all science enthusiasts & dystopian fiction lovers!
Join us Thursday Nov 19th, 8.00pm GMT
for some Bad Bugs bookchat!
I will be discussing The Waiting Rooms (virtually) with the Bad Bugs Bookclub who are hosting a Twitter Q&A afterwards at 8.00pm which is open to all!!
Professor Jo Verran from Manchester Metropolitan University set up the bookclub with her infectious disease peers to get people interested in science, disease and all things bug-related in fiction. It seemed a fitting date as that is the start of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week.
You don't need any kind of science background to join, we will be answering questions about the facts behind the book, antibiotic resistance and anything else that comes up, and there will be proper experts on hand to answer any bug-related questions!
Join us on Twitter: search #badbugsbookclub or @evecsmith. Hope to see you there!
Also: watch this space for news about the Blood Brothers Crime Podcast.
I’m really excited to be chatting to fellow crime writers Chris McDonald, Rob Parker & Sean Coleman about The Waiting Rooms and all things dark and criminal. The podcast should go live that same week…
